DOGUE is the forefront of canine fashion, dog accessories, dog grooming, day care and luxury dog boarding in Australia.
DOGUE approached Drumbeat to replace their old static website. DOGUE offers a large amount of services, with a vast amount of branches within their business from franchising opportunities, an online shop, a retreat service, numerous physical stores, complete with a very popular blog.
Drumbeats challenge was to sift through the old site, listening to the client, and take the time to understand the business, it’s multiple offerings and the level of importance of each. To accomplish this we worked closely with the client, culling, reorganising, and advising to produce a distilled hierarchy of content and business offerings. This translated not only into the final product, but had a flow on effect for the client internally. The project forced the client to reevaluate their service offerings, and re prioritise aspects within their business.
Once we had completed the planning stage of the project we moved onto the design phase. We worked closely with DOGUEs branding assets, inspiration from their physical stores, but also gave ourselves the freedom to introduce some new elements needed for a digital space. We leveraged big bold colours, cute imagery, and iconography to deliver the DOGUE look and feel into a digital experience.
Once the new website launched, the feedback was instantaneous and extremely positive. We saw a jump in visits to the sites blog, the length of time spent on the site had doubled, the drop off rate had halved, and topped off with a 300% increase in sales through the new online shop! The common thread, and feedback from DOGUE customers was that the new site was just a pleasure to use, it was fun, engaging, and easy to navigate.
This was a challenging and fun project for us to be a part of. We pride ourselves on delivery well thought out and quality projects. DOGUE allowed us to deliver both, and the results speak for themselves.
